Why are most of the attributes unavailable in the mass action template to update?
Let us see a business case that a user wants to update the Bill To Customer Number attribute for a set of transactions through mass action functionality. While creating the mass action batch, the attribute Bill To Customer Number field is not available under Attributes Fields to Be Updated.
Why is the attribute unavailable?
The attributes that are configured as Editable alone, will be listed under Attributes Fields to Be Updated. In this case, the Bill to Customer Number is not set to Editable.
How to make it available?
Navigate to Setups → Application → Labels and then search for the attribute (in this case Bill To Customer Number ) that you are trying to mass update, in the search bar.
Once the Attribute that we searched appears in the result screen, you can see that the Editable option is not enabled. Toggle the button to make the field as Editable and save the changes.
Perform Mass Action now
Once done, navigate back to the mass action and you can see that the Bill To Customer Number attribute is available under the list of Attribute Fields To be Updated list.
The same steps can be followed to enable other desired attributes.
