Product is not visible in Rule Engine's Update product action.

Product is not visible in Rule Engine's Update product action.

Question:

We noticed that we are unable to choose a product for add product action though it is already active in Zuora product catalogue and we can see it during normal quoting process.

Please debug this.

Answer:

Rule Engine usually takes the product from ZProducts instead of Product2 object in SFDC. If suppose the product is deleted in ZProducts, we won’t be able to access that product in the Rule Engine.

 

Engineering team has confirmed that this is a known behavior and this will be addressed in a Future release of Zuora Quote.
