Product Rate Plan ID and Product Rate Plan Charge ID are not auto-populating on the Subscription

Problem - If you are creating a new quote using Salesforce CPQ and the quote is accepted, when the contract and subscription(s) are created, the Zuora Product Rate Plan ID and Product Rate Plan Charge ID are not auto-populating on the Subscription in Salesforce CPQ as shown below.

Solution - In this specific case, when customer created a new quote using Salesforce CPQ and the quote was accepted, when the contract & subscription(s) were created, the Zuora Product Rate Plan ID and Product Rate Plan Charge ID were not auto-populating on the Subscription in the Salesforce CPQ. 

 

Customer missed to complete one of the steps from the below article. 

Configure Salesforce CPQ for Connector

 

The issue was resolved when we followed the steps below. 

  1. In Salesforce, navigate to Setup > Installed Packages.
  2. Click Configure for the Salesforce CPQ package.
  3. On the Settings page, click Plugins.
  4. In the Billing Plugin field, type ZSB.ZuoraBillingPlugin
  5. Click Save
