Feature Request: Invoice Template have this ability to control the decimal places that can be expose and Quote template needs to have this functionality as well.

Issue: Customer's products have complex pricing models. They had to build options into the products to enable the proper pricing matrix based on term and UOM. There are options to these products that are not always "activated" when a product is priced. When these options are not activated they currently still show up on the quote with a zero quantity and a zero price which is confusing to their prospects and a stumbling block for their sales team. Although their product pricing is complex the product selection and final pricing on the quote should look very simple to our prospects... this currently is not the case.
In Z-Billing, we have feature to suppress zero value invoice line items and you can see it when you go to Settings > Z-Billing Settings > Manage Invoice Rules and Templates and click edit on the invoice template to see the check box for 'Do not display zero value invoice line items'. This is the feature I am thinking to incorporate in Z-Quote. I also logged an enhancement request DE7807 and its currently being review by our Product Management.

Feature Request: Allow ability to relate Billing Account and Contacts in SFDC reports

Feature Request: Ability to sync payment gateway response code for a declined payment to SFDC

Currently when send quote to z-billing, if the process time is too long ( >120 seconds), there will be a time out error in SFDC, and the quote's status will not be updated. But in zuora the process will still process, and the subscription or amendment will be created in zuora, which will cause inconsistence data between zuora and SFDC.
If we can extend the API response time in SFDC(larger then 120 seconds).

Expired quotes should not be sent to Z-billing.
Z-Quotes allows you to enter a quote validity date. There is currently no functionality behind this validity date.
Suggested functionality is to prevent expired quotes from being sent to Z-Billing.

Use case: Customer X needs to have 1xxx characters in Specials Terms and Notes field when creating a quote. This will allow the customer to include the desired level of detail in their description of deliverables on their quotes generated through Z-Quote.
Current behavior: Specials Terms and Notes only allowed upto 1000 characters.
We already forwarded this enhancement request to our Product Management to increase the maximum length of the Special Terms and Notes field and the reference # is DE7978.

Feature Request: Ability to group subtotal charges by charge type in Quote Template

Use case: Customer X doesn't use accounts in Salesforce for their setup. They utilize contacts and everything about their service is tied to a contact and not to an account.
DE7924 is logged for this enhancement request and forwarded to our Product Management for review. The work around to consider is to develop and code in Salesforce to query the Z-Billing objects and connect it to Contact.

Use case: Customer Z are creating a new workflow, whereby a sales rep can create a quote but can only view or print a quote in a template that has the word DRAFT in grey on it. The quote approver would then create the quote in the final version of the template that does not include the word DRAFT.
Suggested enhancement: create custom access to different quote templates, something like a 'communication profile' field per user profile. In this way, you can assign a specific Quote Template a user profile will view/create.
This enhancement request is currently being review by our Product Management and currently being track under DE8323.

If customer has a subscription with no product in Zuora, when trying to create an Amendment Quote in Salesforce, an error will occur.
Attempt to de-reference a null object
Error is in expression '{!theOptions}' in component <zqu:selectproduct> in component zqu:selectproduct
An unexpected error has occurred. Your solution provider has been notified. (zqu)
Because the current subscription version in Zuora has no product, when an amendment quote is created, it checks for existing products and the validation fails.
We should allow customer to amend subscription with no product via Zuora Quotes as this is supported in Zuora UI.

Use case: Customer Z have a customer who only want to see the Rate Plan listed on the invoice, along with the breakdown. They don't need the
breakdown of each charge amount. i.e. Gold Plan Bundle comes with X,Y, & Z charges, but they don't care about the individual charges, just the higher level rate plan. They would like to expose the Rate Plan Name, and the total price of the Rate Plan Charges.
The quote template only exposes the Rate Plan Charge fields, which can result in an overwhelming number line items than necessary. This is why our Product Management is currently evaluating the DE8446/PMT-107 for possible enhancement to support this use case.

We require certain custom field values to be populated in the quote charge object based on the product catalog in salesforce. This way, the data can flow as follows.
Zuora product catalog>salesforce product catalog (Zuora for salesforce)>quote charge > subscription rate plan charge
Largely this would be used to default a value in, which could then be over-ridden by the salespeople.
We will also use this to populate custom fields that we need to reference on the quote document.

We need to be able to link the Invoice Item Data Source to the Quote Charge object in Z-Quotes, so that we can identify which lines are tax lines.
Currently there is no way to identify which of the Invoice Items are tax lines. The only workaround is to take the lowest value for the Quote, but this is not a reliable or robust workaround.
In order to facilitate this link, the "Zuora Subscription Rate Plan Charge ID" must be made available in the Quote Charge object.
