If you are trying to apply an update product amendment on a recurring charge before the last invoiced date and getting the error as mentioned. Then please check the RatePlan associated to the attached recurring rateplancharge.
If the RatePlan consists a usage charge then you would not be able to apply an update product amendment before the Last Invoiced date.

What is the recommended solution. Start date is uneditable for me.
