Re: How to link New Payment Method button to the right Hosted Page iFrame in Salesforce

Problem

Customer is using both Hosted Pages 1.0 and 2.0 and need to connect the right iFrame to quote's New Payment Method button.

Solution

1) Zuora Quotes v6.43 or earlier

  • Hosted Pages 1.0 - Name the 1.0 iFrame Zuora HPM Setting (For more details, please check out this article)

HPM1.0.png

  • Hosted Pages 2.0 - Create a custom Visualforce page to connect to the iFrame (For more details, please check out this article)

Please note that you will have two separate buttons, the out-of-the-box New Payment Method one for Hosted Pages 1.0 and your custom button for Hosted Pages 2.0.

2) Zuora Quotes v6.5 or later

  • Hosted Pages 1.0 - Name the 1.0 iFrame Zuora HPM Setting (For more details, please check out this article)
  • Hosted Pages 2.0 - In the 2.0 iFrame's setting, enable Default checkbox (For more details, please check out Default Payment Page section in this article)

HPM2.0.png

Please note that you will have one out-of-the-box New Payment Method button for either Hosted Pages 1.0 or Hosted Pages 2.0.  If you have both 1.0 iFrame called Zuora HPM Setting and 2.0 iFrame with Default option enabled, the button will use the 2.0 iFrame.

Re: How to link New Payment Method button to the right Hosted Page iFrame in Salesforce

We had the problem that we actually have multiple hosted payment pages that need to be displayed based on some criteria (let's call it the Billing-Entity). So the one default checkbox does not suffice.

We helped ourselves with the following solution:

Salesforce / Setup / Create / Objects / Quote (zqu__Quote__c) / New Button or Link

Create a new "Detail Page Button" with the following URL:

/apex/zqu__PaymentMethodCreation?scontrolCaching=1&id={!zqu__Quote__c.Id}&pageId=<PAYMENT-PAGE-ID-HERE>

This way you can create one dedicated button per Payment Page in which you explicitly reference the HPP's ID.

We have multiple buttons, one for each Billing Entity involved - this is not beautiful but at least it's well working.

Kai Meder

Thanks for sharing your alternate solution Kai! @ls-zuora. Would be interested in hearing which solution worked well for this issue - or if there's yet another solution.

Thanks again,
