Due Date doesn't update when Payment Terms is Changed

Why is it that due date doesn't update when payment terms is changed? Account is originally setup at "due upon receipt" so Due Date is the same as the Invoice Date. However, when payment terms is updated to Net30, the new invoice generated will still capture the old payment terms as the basis of the due date. Please help.

Re: Due Date doesn't update when Payment Terms is Changed

In my experience, the new invoices that are generated after the account's payment term is updated, will use the new payment term value.  Already posted invoices will not update with the new payment term value.

Have you checked the Billing Settings/Payment Terms and verified that the Number of Days value is 30 for the Name Net 30?

Another area to check is if the subscription has a different Invoice Owner and if that account's payment terms are not the intended payment terms.

I would reach out to Zuora Support for additional help if you don't get the answers here you are looking for.
