3 Ways to Leverage the Zuora Community for Your Career

The Zuora Community is a place to find solutions, share feedback, and stay informed about releases, maintenance, and breaking product announcements. What about using the Community to level up your Zuora expertise and expand your career? 

Here are three ways to creatively use the Zuora Community to showcase your skills:

 

1. ANSWER ZUORA QUESTIONS

Helping answer questions from your peers not only showcases your Zuora prowess, but also demonstrates your ability to think critically, explain complex topics clearly and concisely, as well as demonstrate your soft skills. We’ve all experienced the quick “copy and paste” reply with a URL with no explanation; adding more insight and following up goes a long way.

 

Pro Tip: 

Most of the Community is public where anyone can read content without logging in. Why not highlight your best posts on your LinkedIn profile for more visibility?

 

 

2. JOIN A ZUORA INTEREST GROUP

Community Interest Groups focus on topics not directly related to our product, and who would be better to understand your career using Zuora than other Zuora users? 

  • Job Board: Looking for a new opportunity? Subscribe to receive job posts.
  • Career Exchange: hare tips on how to advance your career and Zuora expertise.
  • Subscription Economy™: Learn and discuss how to improve your business’s subscription model with Zuora execs.

The Career Exchange is the only interest group that is private - only those in the group can see your posts so that you can discuss your career topics discreetly.

 

Pro Tip: 

Joining a group automatically subscribes you to receive email notifications. 

 

 

3. DON'T USE ZUORA ALONE - JOIN (OR START) A COMMUNITY CHAPTER

With social distancing as the norm, networking is a challenge, and connecting with others via social media platforms has its limits. Community Chapters are customer-led user groups with members who want to hear how you use Zuora and share best practices.
