Zuora Revenue backs up data in sandboxes and production instances automatically for customers who may wish to retrieve data as it existed as of a specific date. Customers of Zuora Revenue have the ability to access historical data within a limited time frame from a backup copy. Data backup copies are not maintained indefinitely, and copies will be archived after a period of time as detailed in this policy. Zuora reserves the right to update this policy from time to time at its sole discretion.
1. Live Customers
1.1 Production instance will be backup daily and retain for 4 weeks
1.2 Production instance Period End copy will be store for 78 weeks (in any case where Zuora is not able to determine the period close or an exception occurs, period end copy will be take place on a regular month-end date)
1.2.1 Period End copy is defined as the data snapshot before the next period is open. The following system action will be completed before backup is retained to ensure customer has the final period close view:
1.2.1.1 All unposted entries are sweeped into next period
1.2.1.2 Reporting are summarized after entries are sweeped
1.3 No backup for SBX instances
1.3.1 Customer can raise support ticket for adhoc backup needs based on On-Demand Pricing
2. Implementation Customers
2.1 Production instance will follow Live Customers’ policy mentioned above
2.2 Sandbox instance will be backup daily and retain for 4 weeks
