Zuora will be making some changes to our IP Address pool for access to Zuora endpoints. Action may be required on your part to ensure you do not experience a disruption in service if you whitelist outgoing connections from your application.
Zuora utilizes Akamai to provide content delivery acceleration as well as security services. Akamai will be adding a new pool of web servers used to access Production Zuora and API Sandbox.
The whitelist configuration can only be completed and validated by your Organizations Network team for your specific environment. Zuora has no visibility into the current configuration of your Firewall. If you are unsure if a whitelist is used in your environment, please contact your technical operations department to determine if a whitelist is being used.
What changes will be implemented during this maintenance?
Zuora will be conducting a '"zero downtime" maintenance event to implement a new pool of Akamai web server.
When will these change take effect?
- API Sandbox and PT1 change: September 19 2017 @ 7 AM Pactific Time (PT)
- Production change: October 17 2017 @ 7 AM Pacific Time (PT)
How will this change impact me?
You may be impacted by this change for any of the following reasons:
- If your systems whitelist outbound network access to Zuora web servers, you must update the IP addresses to include IP addresses listed below. Otherwise your systems will be unable to establish connection to the Zuora system. Do not remove the previous list of whitelisted IP addresses. Append the new IPs to the list.
- If your application relies on hardcoded IP addresses to communicate with the Zuora system, you should reconfigure your system to use DNS for IP lookup of apisandbox.zuora.com and www.zuora.com. For proper operations, the DNS servers utilized should respect DNS TTL settings.
- Please review with your IT and Network admins to determine if any changes are necessary
What action must I take?
You must complete the action below before September 19th for API Sandbox and before October 17 for Production, to avoid any potential service disruption.
Step 1: Modify network access policies
- If your systems whitelist outbound network access to Zuora services, you must modify your network access policies to allow access to these ADDITIONAL IP addresses specified below.
This is the list of IP addresses that should be added. If IPs are currently whitelisted on your firewall, but not in this list, they should be removed
- When accessing the API SANDBOX or PT1 URLs listed below, whitelist the following IPs.

What happens if I take no action?
If you take no action, your systems may be unable to connect to the Zuora system after these changes are implemented. Please discuss these changes with your IT administrators to ensure you take the appropriate actions.
