As part of our upcoming July 2021 billing application release 304 (Sandbox 7/6 - 7/8, Production 7/13 - 7/15), the auto generated "Powered by Zuora" logo will be removed in the footer of all invoice templates for all customers. We dont support enabling the "Powered by Zuora" logo any more. If you want to include this logo in your invoice template, you need to update the invoice template and add the logo image in the footer manually.
What is the change we are making?
The auto generated "Powered by Zuora" logo will be disabled in the footer of all invoice templates. Most customers have disabled the logo. They are not impacted by the change. Some customers still enable the auto generated logo Powered by Zuora. They will notice that the "Powered by Zuora" logo will disappear in the footer of invoice templates.
How do you know if your templates were impacted?
When you are using word templates with mail merge to generate PDF for invoices, you can preview the invoice PDF to see if "Powered by Zuora" logo is generated automatically in PDF. If the logo appears in the foot of the PDF, the logo will be removed in the July release. Refer to the example PDF invoice.
The templates of credit memos and debit memos are not impacted.
When will the change take effect?
The change will take effect in the Billing Application Release 304 which is planned within the time frame Sandbox from July 6 to July 8, Production from July 13 to July 15.
What action do I need to take?
You dont need to take any action if you dont need the "Powered by Zuora" logo on your invoice PDF. The logo will be removed automatically after the July release.
If you want to show the "Powered by Zuora" logo on your invoice PDFs, you need to update your invoice templates and add the Zuora logo image in the footer of the invoice templates manually.
