Title: Sr. Zuora Billing Consultant OR Billing Consultant
Location: San Jose, CA or RTP, NC (Remote as of now & should work in time zone as per client ask)
Type: Fulltime Hire
As the Senior Zuora Billing Consultant , your main responsibilities are to:
- Define and implement the flows between Zuora and various modules such as payment gateway, fraud & tax services, MDM system, and business-critical systems like CRM, Salesforce, ERP, and other internal services;
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technology and subscription management domain trends, propose and conduct R&D projects that would be beneficial to the client, act as an evangelist to spread the knowledge;
- Establish, recommend, or modify current business processes and technical integration flows where applicable.
- Resolve architectural and design problems, and address other concerns as necessary;
- Participate in defining client requirements, assisting internal customers to express their needs;
- Be an active contributor to internal best practices in terms of analysis and development, promote and ensure their adherence within the team;
- Design test plans and test cases and help the business and testing team during implementation;
- Define subscription data quality checks across the entire ecosystem. Skills required to contribute:

- Sound understanding of the subscription business model; Knowledge of Subscription Management like renewals, amendments, and other features
- Excellent knowledge of Zuora Billing Platform (Billing & Payments, Finance);
- Good knowledge of Zuora Object Model, Zuora workflows configuration, REST API;
- Extensive experience with Zuora Developer Tools;
- Excellent knowledge on various integrations from Zuora;
- Experience in business analysis, systems design, integration, and implementation;
- In-depth knowledge of Admin features and setups like setting up Roles, permissions, Billing templates, etc
- Excellent communication, planning, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
- Experience in Agile methodologies.
