Over the past year, many of you have asked how Zuora is thinking about AI, and more importantly, how AI can be introduced in a way that’s practical, trustworthy, and aligned with the realities of finance operations.
Today, we’re opening a limited Zuora AI beta program to begin testing and refining a set of AI-powered capabilities across core workflows in Zuora.
This beta focuses on real, workflow-level tasks designed to help teams reduce route manual work, better understand their data, and move more efficiently through day-to-day work while grounding AI in the trust, transparency, and domain expertise required for order-to-cash operations.
The initial beta includes capabilities aligned to several core roles, including:
- Billing Operations
- Revenue Accounting
- System Administration
Some capabilities are available today through a chat experience, while others are embedded within existing workflows as we continue to refine the product.
What to expect as a beta participant
Participation in the Zuora AI beta is intentionally hands-on and collaborative. Customers who are invited to participate can expect:
- Sandbox-based testing of AI features
- Regular updates as new tasks are added and existing ones evolve
- Structured feedback sessions with the Zuora product team to share what’s working, what’s not, and where we should go next
Access is selective, and the experience will change over time as we learn from customer input.
Why we’re doing this
AI has real potential to make finance teams more effective, but only if it’s introduced thoughtfully. This beta is about learning together: validating where AI adds value, understanding where trust and explainability matter most, and shaping how these capabilities should ultimately be delivered in Zuora.
