    We want to inform you of a recent issue identified by Avalara that may have impacted certain Louisiana city tax calculations.

    What happened
    City taxes were overcalculated on some transactions between December 29, 2025, and January 7, 2026. This issue has been resolved as of January 7, 2026.

    What this means for you

    • Some transactions during this period may show higher-than-expected city tax amounts
    • There were no undercharges, and you are not at risk for under-collection penalties
    • You may wish to review transactions from this timeframe and determine if any adjustments (such as tax-only credits) are needed
