Zuora announces the deprecation on August 1, 2024 of legacy authentication methods for all Zuora applications and environments.

    What's Happening

As part of our ongoing efforts to provide the latest state-of-the-art security and user experience, we are replacing discrete usernames and passwords for Zuora services with a single, federated user ID across all Zuora services. This decision is aligned with industry best practices and aims to provide you with a more secure and streamlined authentication process, as well as fewer accounts and passwords to manage.

    Key Points

Legacy Login Deprecation Date: August 1, 2024

New Authentication Method: After the deprecation date, Zuora OneID will be the only authentication method available to access your Zuora services, including tenants and associated resources (ex. Community, Support, etc.)

What Does It Mean For You:

Your organization's Zuora users will need to log into Zuora services using Zuora OneID.

To learn more about Zuora OneID and how it streamlines your logins and improves organizational security, please visit our Community Post and Knowledge Center.

We also invite you to a Community Table Talk and office hours for Zuora OneID on February 6th to learn more.

    Action Required:
Zuora has created a migration plan to move all customers to Zuora OneID, and our team will reach out to you prior to your migration to help you prepare. Other actions your organization should take include:

    1. Review your QA testing best practices and determine how much time you will need to complete internal tests.
    2. Reach out to Zuora Support if you'd like to get started now or to discuss concerns about the migration or your ability to be migration-ready.

When it's time to start using the new Zuora OneID authentication method, every active user in your organization will receive an email with instructions to activate their new OneID accounts. No other user action is required once each account is activated. Users just need to head to https://one.zuora.com/ to log in thereafter.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your Zuora Account Team or Zuora Support to begin a conversation about what this migration looks like for your organization.
