Hi, Today, the customer's account number field can't be modified after it has been set once. These days with strict data privacy laws, and for the GDPR data compliance, there are requirements to anonymize personal data for the inactive users. We do NOT use Zuora's automatically generated account numbers for our customers. We assign custom values to that field which includes customer's e-mail address and some other data. Since, account number is not editable, we are not completely able to anonymize user's personal info. If there is an API where in we will pass a new (unique) account number for an account, and the API will update old account number with new account number at all the places (subscription, invoices etc.), that would be helpful for such cases.
