@ehavens There is no date of deprecation of the previous API URL, we have just decided to recommend the new one as the better URL to use with less risk of issue.
@Don_at_Pantheon Changes will not be automatically applied, and there is no new deployment for this change. To best align with our recommended API URL for Zuora Connection settings you will need to manually change the URL in your settings.

Please take note that Zuora has made changes to the recommended API URL for connecting your SF Org to Zuora for Zuora CPQ.
The specific URLs changed are for US Production and Performance Test environments.
