Problem Statement: Accounting Mapping between column Revenue Segment and individual segments (such as Rev Seg1 etc.)
Question: My source system has a 7 segment in the accounting structure. In RevPro, I understand that the structure can be mapped while creating the accounting structure. However in the transaction upload file, we have a single column name “Revenue Segments” which will be the concatenated accounting segments. How does this value translate to the individual segments; Rev Seg1, Rev Seg2, Rev Seg3 etc? Could you please explain this?

SSP determination can be configured at POB level setting profile value
Navigate Menu Setups > Application > Functionality (tab).
Under Allocation group check “POB Allocation” check box. OR follow alternate patch set profile in profiles tab.
Navigate Menu Setups > Application > Profiles (tab).
Search for POB Allocation, and check the System Level value check box
When this profile value is checked, the system sums up the SSP values (Low, within range and high) of all the transaction lines within a POB, sum the total of ESP of these transaction lines and then determine whether the POB is within SSP range or not. Even if one POB, within an RC, is not within the range and CV eligible flag is checked, the allocation would be performed.

Optimizer scale used in Optimizer method. The Optimizer method looks for the highest concentration (number of transactions) within a defined range and returns the midpoint of the range with the highest concentration.
Scale value is used to build discount bands for analysis from 0 to 100 as shown in the example below. Then the system will identify how many transactions lines discount percent falling in each range.
Typical suggested value is 0.5, but it all depends on the population of discount percents how low and the high they can go.

Credit Memo offset accounting is generated based on Credit Rule, and CREDIT_RULE needs to be passed along the transaction line when transaction type is CM/CM-C/CM-R
CREDIT_RULE Values (P/L/F):
PRORATE - P
LIFO - L ( System treats no value as L)
FIXED DURATION - F
When Credit Rule mentioned as F- FIXED DURATION, then Start Date and End Date should be provided, else adjustment to CM is in the current open period.
When Credit Rule is P- PRORATE, the system will ignore the start and end date on the CM lines, the system will consider the schedules related to Invoice.
When Credit Rule is L/NULL - LIFO, the system will ignore the start and end date on the CM lines, the system will consider the schedules related to Invoice.
If no Credit Rule provided, then system by default apply LIFO for CM processing.
