I couldn't agree more with what the 'Business need' section describes: " This feature is important for merchants to ensure that they are maintaining a healthy relationship with their clients by displaying the products that they are paying for. ". As it clearly serves a very important task it puzzles me why this descriptor field hasn't been implemented to date. It seems relatively easy to allow merchants to choose which fields or string(s) they want Zuora to send to the PayPal gateway upon payments. This could be done in a variety of ways; some examples: 1. Strings only "your favo-gym subscription" 2. Strings and Zuora fields "favo-gym - %Subscription.Name% %Subscription.TermStartDate%" or "favo-gym - %Subscription.TermStartDate% %Invoice.InvoiceNumber%" 3. Strings and Zuora fields (fancy/drag&drop) Same as 2 but with a drag&drop system as seen in the filters for the Zuora's new Reporting module. We cannot wait to see this implemented as the current absence of these kind of details on the PayPal receipts is, from a customer's perspective, unacceptably confusing.
