When is REF_RC_ID populated in the Line_G table?

Question:

When will REF_RC_ID be populated in the Line_g table? Can I use this field to identify a line that participated in the RC linking delinking activity?

Answer:

The REF_RC_ID field is populated when the New Revenue Contract treatment is triggered for a contract modification. The contract modification belongs to the New POB category in the RevPro policy settings.

Linking and delinking activity will not get REF_RC_ID populated. To identify a line that participated in the linking and delinking activity, look up for the DOC_LINE_ID that has RC_id <> RC_Id for the line in Line_g table. It means the line ID is part of 2 RCs at different times.
