Answer:
At times, you may need to release the lock manually. Take the following steps to release the lock:
- Login to your RevPro account.
- Click the admin icon on the top right corner and select Release Lock in the drop-down list
.
- In the Release Lock dialog, the lock details such as Org Name and the Object Name which has obtained this lock are displayed. Select this line and right click. The Delete option becomes available.
- Click Delete to release the lock.
This process is also applicable to the RevPro New UI.

Re: How to Release the Lock through UI?
Remember that you must be assigned to the role with the privilege to release the lock.
To find the role privileges, perform the following steps (in the new UI):
- Navigate to Setups > Security.
- On the Roles page, hover the mouse over the target role and click the pencil icon.
- In the Edit Role window, click Role Privileges.
- In the Text column, drill down to Setups > Application > Release Lock.
- Ensure Full Access is assigned in the Privilege column for the Release Lock line.
