Currently, Zuora does not 'officially' support 27% of desktop browser usage in the US (stats here). While we can be perscriptive about browser use for our internal Zuora users, this is a fairly major concern implementing Payment Pages. It's not practical for us to A) hope customers can use the Payment Page despite their browser being unsupported, or B) require customers who can use our product just fine to switch browers to pay us. Since Safari (9%), IE (11%), and Edge (7%) collectively make up 27% of browser use, Zuora should prioritize including these browers in their support policy.

As of today, we do not recieve any notification if we post invoices and the deliver of email fails. This could mean that our customers never recieves their invoices. In addition, we would have no idea if any invoices fails to be delivered.

Ability to define Custom Field in Zuora as Numeric.
Currently, Zuora only allows text, picklist or date.
Number conversion and using Zoql against a number within text field is not efficient.

We send an Upcoming Renewal email 60 days prior to a subscription renewal, but there are a very limited set of merge fields available. I would like to be able to include a full list of fields (including custom fields) from: Account Default Payment Method The Invoice Posted notification was enhanced in the past and now has a very rich set of fields available. I would like a similar level of details available for Upcoming Renewal.

Other software that sends emails on behalf of a sender usually provide information about the status of an email once it is sent. I need to know whether the email was 'undeliverable', 'unopened', 'opened', or 'replied'. Since there is no place for notes without an add-on and we do not have this information, it is difficult to prove the customer received the invoice.

Ability to change date format of merge fields in email templates. Currently displays as mm/dd/yyyy which can be confusing for international customers.

The addresses located in the "Additional email" field in the Account record are only included when sending out Invoice Notifications.
When sending out Payment Notifications, those addresses are excluded.
Could we request that the Payment notifications also pay attention to the addresses in the "Additional email" field?

Hi there, When we are configuring the email templates for auto renewal reminder and manual renewal reminder, we can only choose the Subscription Name as a kind of ID number for the customers to locate which subscription is going to be renewed. However, a sequence of number normally does not make too much sense to a customer. We would like to request adding Product and Rate Plan related merge field for the email templates so we can make the email notifications more sense for our customers. Thanks,

I posted this in the community and was told it was not possible so I am submitting as a feature request - "We are trying to set up renewal reminder emails for our customers on annual subscriptions to remind them 30 days before their annual subscription renews. We would like to include the price of their subscription so they know how much we will be charging them upon renewal. I cannot seem to find a merge field we can include in the email that will achieve this."

To more easily create parent & child relationships between accounts, I'd like to vote for a Clone button on the Account. (I didn't see one for my user's role)
This is before any bill runs, invoicing, or payment has occurred. It would not assume the same credit card details.
Mainly this is to capture similar address, contact, and text/picklist information. Similar to the "Clone" button that Salesforce has.

Currently the date format for email notifications is based on the locale settings for the Zuora user who triggers the action (e.g. the bill run). To me this doesn't make sense at all. I would expect it to use the locale setting for the relevant communication profile. We are UK based, so most of our Zuora users have a locale setting of "English (United Kingdom)" so that our reports and UI use the UK date format. However, most of our customers are in the US, so we have setup a separate US comms profile along with a complete set of emails created specifically for these US customers. The locale setting for this profile is set to "English (United States)" and I really expected this would mean that these emails would use the US date format. But it turns out this is not how it works. Please provide a facility to allow us to use the comms profile locale setting to control the date format of customer email notification.

We can customize the name of a Batch, but not add a custom field. We have integrated software that updates information, based on Batches. Although it would be feasible to use a custom name and code the integration on that, it's not best practice to build code on names/text. If we had a custom field, we could use that in the integration logic.

Currently, the key metrics displayed on the costumer screen display the account balance according to different criteria (Total, Invoice Balance, Unapplied payment balance, unapplied credit memo balance...) Our customer needs, as a general petition, to enrich/improve the information offered in the 'Account' screen. One of the concrete requests is to be able to drill down the transactions that make up each metric displayed on that section. The drill down should be displayed on a pop-up window or on a different screen. For example, for the invoice balance the drilldown should include all the invoices that are part of this balance, and the amount that they apport to it.

Feature Request: ISO Country Code field on Contacts

Business Need: Customers are asking if it is possible to add an option/field to use the ISO Country Code on the contacts field. As per these customers requirements, the integration with thier accounting system they require the ISO Country Code and not the English Country Name. (might solve a lot of problems with non-English systems.)

When adding the child account, we need to have the abillity to easily add the parent information to "sold to" for tax purposes. This is a step heavy process now as we have to add a contact to the child account and then it shows up in the "sold to" drop down of the child account. Also, it is monotonous since the parent account is obvoisuly already a contact in Zuora and we get a notice stating such. So, why not just make it an option in the "sold to" drop down? They are already in a parent/child relationship so it seems to make sense.

If I am viewing an Account in Zuora UI, and I display the All Amendments sub-tab, then click the "create new amentment" link, Zuora insists that I first "Search Customer by Name or Account No", and then "Then Select a Subscription". But it already knows which account I want. If there's only one subscription, it can figure that out as well. Please make this part of the UI smarter! 1. 2.

The Upcoming Renewal Notification supports a very limited number of merge fields. Customer use case is to send renewal notification 30 day prior with the customer's next bill amount (could be MRR or TCV or custom field). Supporting additional Subscription merge fields would solve this use case.
