Why am I only able to select USD rate plans in Salesforce even though I have rate plans in Euro?

Problem:

When a product is setup with USD and Euro rate plans, why is it that when building a Quote in SFDC, only USD rate plans are available?

Re: Why am I only able to select USD rate plans in Salesforce even though I have rate plans in Euro?

Solution:

1. Verify that the account's default currency is Euro.

2. Check the Euro Rate Plans are activated in Product Catalog.

3. If Euro Rate Plans aren't activated, it can be activated via UI by going to "Product Catalog" > "Edit price in multi-currency" > under the column "EUR", click on the "Activate" button.

Often times if there are a fair amount of Rate Plans to scroll through, the more effective way would be activating via SOAP API call:

<ns1:update>
      <ns1:zObjects xsi:type="ns2:ProductRatePlan">
            <ns2:Id>2c92a0f94efcc2a3014f1529ca2547da</ns2:Id>
            <ns2:ActiveCurrencies>USD, EUR</ns2:ActiveCurrencies>
      </ns1:zObjects>
</ns1:update>

4. After Rate Plan is activated, perform a Sync on "Product Catalog", now Rate Plans in Euro should be available to add to Quotes.
