Solution:
This is how Billing Account sync works at this point:
We have a feature "Synchronize Canceled Account Data".


With this feature enabled, when an Account is cancelled on Zuora, that record , along with its related objects will be synced to SFDC . And any update on these records on Zuora thereafter will also sync back to SFDC.


When this feature is not enabled, if an Account is cancelled in Zuora, it, along with its related records will be deleted from salesforce.

 

If you would like to have the Cancelled Account data synced to Salesforce but do not want any further update on it to get reflected on Salesforce.

 

Based on current design of Zuora 360 sync, there is unfortunately no way to achieve this.


But, we have a Limited availability Configurable Sync Data Connect that should be able to satisfy your need, if you are ok with all limitation we have in Data connect at this point.

If you agree with all the above limitations, we can enhance Billing Account sync using Data connect to not delete any Billing Account from salesforce when CRM ID is removed from the billing account record on Zuora.
