How can I update the sync by user for Zuora for Salesforce 360 Sync?

Problem - If you are having trouble with email notifications with the Zuora for Salesforce - 360 Sync.

In this specific case, customer had scheduled sync running every 2 hours and the Sync By user was set to user1 with email1 whereas they wanted the emails for the error notification to be sent to user2 with email2.

Solution - If you are facing the similar issue as described in the problem above, please follow the steps below for a fix-

  • Login to Zuora tenant using 'user2' credentials.
  • Click Edit button for the Recurring Sync.

  • Select "None" for the Sync Mode.

  • Hit Save as shown below.

  • Setup the Recurring sync again while logged in as 'user2'.
  • In the next sync you will notice that the sync by user is updated to 'email2'.
