Discrepancies between CurrencyIsoCode and zqu__Currency__c on the zqu__QuoteRatePlanCharge__c

Question:

We are finding discrepancies between CurrencyIsoCode and zqu__Currency__c on the zqu__QuoteRatePlanCharge__c object for Zquotes which is throwing off reporting.

Answer:

The field "CurrencyIsoCode" is a standard Salesforce field and this is available only when the multi-currency feature is enabled in an organization. By design, from the managed package(Zuora Quotes and Zuora 360) perspective, none of our codes or any other settings are using this field and we use only "zqu__Currency__c" in all the managed package objects. This is because not all the customers might have enabled the "Multi-Currency' feature. In that case, if manage package components uses this field, it might cause some issue and that is why Zuora is using it's own custom currency field.
