CAD (Customer Acceptance Date) and SAD (Service Activation Date)

Question or Problem Statement:
In our SF account for Z-Quotes, we have a validation rule that says “Customer Acceptance Date cannot be before Service Activation Date or Start Date.” Why is this? Can I remove this?

Re: CAD (Customer Acceptance Date) and SAD (Service Activation Date)

Solution:
This validation rule is a part of the App. By design, there is no way to delete it.The rule is:

Contract Effective Date ≤ Service Activation Date ≤ Customer Acceptance Date.

Here is an error sample:
Start Date = Service Activation Date = 4/21/2016
Customer Acceptance Date = 4/1/2016
Then, error appears: Customer Acceptance Date: Customer Acceptance Date cannot be before Service Activation Date or Start Date
