Solution - Please find below the steps to add the custom object fields to your quote template. I followed the below KC document to get this to work.
Add Custom Object in Quote Templates
- I created a custom object named "Minimum Commit" and created just one custom field "OppName" with the text data type on it for testing purpose. Please see below-
- Then I created a custom lookup field on the Opportunity Object with a lookup to "Minimum Commit" as shown below.
- Please find below one of the record that I have added to "Minimum Commit".
- And then I added the MergeField to the Quote template as shown below-
- And after all these steps I could fetch the data from the custom Object on my Quote template.
