I expect the clone quote button on a renewal or amendment quote to also clone the product changes to the quote (currently it doesn't do that making the name of the button incorrect). It's a really common use-case for us to provide 1 and 3 yr quote options and having to re-produce any changes to the quote each time is unecessary work.

The order of Rate Plan Charges on a quote, withing a Rate Plan seems fairly random. In our catalog setup there are some that require quantities and others that don't. Also to make a nice UX for Sales Reps we need to be able to specify which order these appear it so we can have this consistent across all our products. Currently sometimes the maintainence comes first, other times half way down the page. Being able to assign them a number and have the UI sort by that number would be a huge improvement to the usability.

In Zuora Quotes, if you create or update New Subscription Quote, Amendment Subscription Quote and Renewal Subscription Quote, following fields are displayed in the roll-up feed in Opportunity .
- Name
- Opportunity (name)
- Status
- MRR (Delta MRR)
- TCV (DeltaTCV)
Client would like to use chatters, but would not like to see the above fields in roll-up feed in Opportunity when New Subscription Quote, Amendment Subscription Quote and Renewal Subscription Quote are created and updated.
According to the Knowledge Center, it is able to control On/Off of chatters. However, it is not able to control which fields to show in roll-up feed. Should have a capability to select which fields to show in chatter's roll-up feed.

https://github.com/zuora/Z-Force has many Apex code samples for plugins and interfacing with the Z-Quotes. Most of these are out of date with current state of Zuora - such as it still uses DateTime when app expects Date and deprecated objects such as QuoteCharge. It would be good to have a new set of samples developed with the current version of Z-Quotes.

Today each time we uodate the Quote template, Zuora genrates a new id. In the SFDC prod we don't have always the opportunity (right) to update it, so e have to wait the next project release just to update the ID...

The Salesforce packages only have two Profile Templates when you install them: No Access, and Full Access. Full Access gives full Read/Create/Edit/Delete to every object in the packages, including those that should not be modified in Salesforce that are synced from Zuora, like Billing Account, Subscription, etc as well as the "back-end" objects that a rep should never need to see or interact with. The data integrity issues are mitigated by the next sync overwriting any changes the users may have tried to make in SFDC; but the user experience suffers that they think they can update Zuora from within Salesforce but they really can't, their changes don't stick, if they don't know the changes don't stick then they don't know they have to notify Accounting, etc. It would be better if they just couldn't edit at all. This idea should provide better out-of-the-box permissions, including:
At least one additional Profile Template in the Salesforce Package Installation which provides only the minimum required permissions to interact with Zuora (in between "No Access" and "Full Access"), e.g. read-only on Billing Accounts, Subscriptions, Invoices, etc; Read/Create/Edit on the Quote related objects, etc.
Include pre-defined Permission Sets out of the box. As packages are updated, new fields are added, etc, it is easier to update one Permission Set than many Profiles. If the package was installed with "Full Access" because that was the only option, then all the Profiles were manually modified to pull those permissions back to Read-only, then a subsequent package install/update will again only allow "Full Access" or "No Access" so you either have to grant Full Access and then go back and undo all the Create/Edit/Delete permissions all over again to get it back to read-only, or install with "No Access" and then you need to know which components need to be manually added to a Profile or Permission Set. If the package included the Permission Sets, we would have the option to use "No Access" then apply the update to one Permission Set instead of many (sometimes dozens) of Profiles.

We understand that you can't do this today but would like to get an idea of whether or not this is even slated for the future.
Internally you may call this a "ramped deal". Our company refers to this concept as "seasonality."
When a quote for a new customer is being designed, we want the ability to agree on when a large amount of additional licenses can be provisioned during a certain amount of time, and then removed at a certain amount of time. An amendment would not work, as we want to contractually agree on this at the beginning of the sales relationship.
Example:
Months 1-9, licenses for subscription X is for 500 users.
From month 10-12, licenses for subscription X double to 1000 users.
Then starting at month 13, licenses ratchet back down to 500 users, and then ramp up again to 1000 users, then back down again.
You currently have a custom solution yourselves for this. Are there any plans to productize this?

The QuoteRatePlanCharge (zqu__QuoteRatePlanCharge__c) object is empty for renewal quotes (that haven't had any product amendments). However this data is available to query for other quote types. This makes it difficult to create a consistent method of querying quote objects programatically. Please make your objects consistent for all quote types.

Functionality to pull delta quantity of numbers in Zuora For Salesforce is needed. For example, in case of increase in each quote like below, it is needed to pile up +100, +20, and, +30 to make cumulative numbers 150 in total in salesforce Report/Dashboard, using a correct data field in Zuora for Salesforce. Delta Quantity Total Quantity New Subscription +100Lic 100Lic Amendment +20Lic 120Lic Renewal +30LIc 150Lic --------------------------------------- Cumulative +150Lic I am now referring the field called "Quantity" under the object "Quote Charge Summaries". Which shows correct delta quantity of numbers only for "New Subscription" and for "Amendment" ( +100 and +20 above). However, Renewal shows only cumulative numbers (150 above) and no fields to see delta quantity, which is +30 in this example. Please consider to add functionality to shows delta quantity in "Renewal" like "New subscription" and "Amendment".

Is it also possible to have an operator "is not equal to" in the filter settings for guided selling?
This might be helpful for, e.g. excluding countries for a regional availability of a product.

We are currently testing out the new charge type, Per Month for the List Price Base. However, in Salesforce on the Quote-RatePlan-Charge object, there is not a field that will calculate the amount for the billing period. The "Total" field calcualtes the monthly value and the "TCV" field calculates the term length value. If the period is changed to Quarter, there is no value that would multiple the monthly price by 3. it would be very helpful to have this value available. We use the period value to display on contracts. It's helpful to show the customer what the price per product will be per billing period. We already have the Monthly price with the MRR field on the charge level. we're overloaded with Monthly amounts. I believe our only solution is to create a custom formula field to calculate it ourselves.

Currently Zuora replicates deleted entries in its product catalog and makes them visible (not deleted) in SF. Zuora should not replicate deleted items, or if it must due to data integrity, they should also be deleted items in SF. If Zuora is going to use soft deletes, it is IMPERATIVE that a recycle bin or undelete functionality be included in the product.

1. Summary of the enhancement? Increase the limit of amendment calls from Titanium to Zuora from 10 to 25.
2.What is the business problem? Because the limit is 10, we are having to create 2 Quotes for one sales transaction when we would like to create only one Quote.
3. What is the business impact? Creates double to work for our order entry process and is error prone.
4. What is the proposed solution (if available)? Increase the limit of amendment calls coming from Titanium from 10 to ~25.

When a Rate Plan is added in CPQ the change in the UI is minimal, a checkmark instead of a plus symbol and the label 'Added' instead of 'Add' When adding many Rate Plans it would be clearer to give them a different color as well, green would be preferable.

When making a new subscription and account with a Quote in salesforce - if the bill to and sold to are the same it still creates 2 duplicate contacts on the account - as the bill to and sold to. c/w Zuora UI where if you have the same person it only makes 1 contact and makes that the bill to and sold to. Could quotes do the same thing please?

The Edit Features dropdown option is still displayed even when Features is not enabled in Zuora or in Salesforce. This should be removed when Features it not enabled.

This would help a lot - to configure and test Guided Product Selector in Production & assign it to certain users only. Also in some cases Product catalog in Sandbox is out-dated, so now we need to manually create the same products in Zuora Sandbox and do the tests there.. having this fetaure in Production would be great!
