Is there anyway to avoid the Zuora error in Salesforce unit tests that states "Please upload Zuora WSDL at first" without having to use the @isTest(SeeAllData=true) attribute? Salesforce best practices are to not use SeeAllData=true. Using SeeAllData has the potential to create other issues when testing which I'm trying to avoid.
To generate the error I simply need to attempt to create a dummy Zuora object within the context of a test
Zuora.zObject zCharge = new Zuora.zObject('RatePlanCharge');
Is there anything else I can do to prevent this error? "Please upload Zuora WSDL at first"
How does one avoid this bug if it's not really a bug but what looks like bad design?

We'd like to be able to sort by a custom or standard field in the product selection detail page.
Currently, there are plugins available to allow this in the steps of the guided selling flows, but after the products are added to the quote there is no way to sort which rate plans appear in which order.
This is useful for use cases where the user needs to specify values in one rateplan that help determine values in another rateplan (for example, if the quantity entered on a recurring charge should be set to the included units of a separate charge, or if the tier-calculated price should be copied to a related charge).

Blank fields are not syncing with SFDC when a custom field is updated to null/blank in Zuora - this is a known issue that needs to be fixed for data integrity.

Feature Request: Auto-populate Bill To and Sold To contact fields in Salesforce when creating New Quote
Status: under evaluation

Core Zuora has a setting that can be enabled to allow up to 20 amendments in one call but even when that setting is enabled Zuora for Salesforce doesn't use it and the quote metrics cannot be correctly calculated.

Currently in Z-Force (Salesforce) Zuora inserts and updates invoices for customers. However when an invoice is adjusted, that change is not reflected in Salesforce. This impacts our ability to see what a customer's true invoice amount is.
We could use an adjusted invoice amount on each invoice in order to calculate invoice totals for customers month over month.
Thanks!

The Salesforce packages only have two Profile Templates when you install them: No Access, and Full Access. Full Access gives full Read/Create/Edit/Delete to every object in the packages, including those that should not be modified in Salesforce that are synced from Zuora, like Billing Account, Subscription, etc as well as the "back-end" objects that a rep should never need to see or interact with. The data integrity issues are mitigated by the next sync overwriting any changes the users may have tried to make in SFDC; but the user experience suffers that they think they can update Zuora from within Salesforce but they really can't, their changes don't stick, if they don't know the changes don't stick then they don't know they have to notify Accounting, etc. It would be better if they just couldn't edit at all. This idea should provide better out-of-the-box permissions, including:
At least one additional Profile Template in the Salesforce Package Installation which provides only the minimum required permissions to interact with Zuora (in between "No Access" and "Full Access"), e.g. read-only on Billing Accounts, Subscriptions, Invoices, etc; Read/Create/Edit on the Quote related objects, etc.
Include pre-defined Permission Sets out of the box. As packages are updated, new fields are added, etc, it is easier to update one Permission Set than many Profiles. If the package was installed with "Full Access" because that was the only option, then all the Profiles were manually modified to pull those permissions back to Read-only, then a subsequent package install/update will again only allow "Full Access" or "No Access" so you either have to grant Full Access and then go back and undo all the Create/Edit/Delete permissions all over again to get it back to read-only, or install with "No Access" and then you need to know which components need to be manually added to a Profile or Permission Set. If the package included the Permission Sets, we would have the option to use "No Access" then apply the update to one Permission Set instead of many (sometimes dozens) of Profiles.

When the Term Type in the Zuora quote is set to Evergreen, the Total from the Zuora quote is not copied to the Opportunity Amount in Salesforce. We use Salesforce reporting based on the Opportunities so having the Amount field updated is essential. If the Term Type is set to Termed, the amount is in the TVC field and is copied to the Opportunity Amount. Unfortunately we have Evergreen quotes, not Termed.

Feature Request: Allow ZForce users to access original the invoice pdfs from SFDC ZCommerce. This would be the original invoice pdf prior to any payments, refunds, adjustments, etc. being applied (i.e. Not the regenerated invoice).
Status: under evaluation
Reference Number: DE9989
Business Need:
On the Invoice object in SFDC, the "view invoice pdf" link works the same was as if you accessed the invoice from Zuora and selected view pdf. Those links will always display the regenerated invoice after payments, adjustments, etc. The business need is that an organization has a collections and account team that will work out of SFDC and need to access the original invoice PDF from SFDC.
If they cannot access the original from SFDC, they will have put in a request to a different group to pull the original invoice from Zuora or someone will have to manually download the original invoice from Zuora and manually upload it somewhere in SFDC. This process would require additional manpower and by itself a tedious manual process.

Would like to see the IF merge fields support custom fields. Also would be great if simple arithmetic operations such are supported (i.e. addition, subtraction, multiplication, etc.) Current, we are having to add custom fields (string) to track this type of "calculated" information.

This is a request regarding quote generation on SFDC via the ZQuotes package.
Generally, we apply a 5% Price Change on Subscription Renewal to our products. We also would like to be able to send our clients a Quote PDF for their subscription renewal.
As far as I am aware, we are not able to produce a quote which details the new charges (i.e. including the 5% price change) for the upcoming subscription period. However, the Quote totals do include the price change. This means that the sum of the charges do not equal the total!
I would like the ability to access a charge total which includes any applied price changes.

1. Summary of the enhancement We need to be allowed to enter fractional numbers for quantity in Z-Quote and natively in Zuora. For example, .5 or 1.5. 2. What is the business problem We are unable to enter fractional numbers in for quantity. We sell a service with a potential quantity of less than 1 (for example, .5) and we are unable to enter that value in for quantity so we are forced to round to the next whole number. 3. What is the business impact We are currently giving services away for free because we are not able to enter the true amount of quantity purchased in the subscription. 4. Is there any possible workaround that you are aware of? We are currently not aware of a workaround at this point in time.

It would be great if the SelectBillingAccount component in SFDC allowed us to filter Billing Accounts, Subscriptions, and Quote Types. Several times customers will have requirements to only allow certain quote types based on profile, or only allow selection of certain Billing Accounts / Subscriptions based on Opportunity fields. If this component had filtering plugins, we could leverage the plugin (and potentially component registration) instead of rebuilding this page + functionality. Additionally, I would imagine we'd want an option to either hide the quote type / records altogether, or just grey them out to mark as read-only

This request comes from the need to have the ability to create a Roll Up Summary for Subscriptions in Salesforce.com. We are currently unable to create a roll-up summary field since the subscription object is a managed package.
A roll up summary field would be the ideal indicator on an account for use in our de-duping efforts. This would provide the ability to display accounts that are associated with subscriptions (when using a tool like demandtools)
