How to work with a case

Hi guys,

we are just trying to figure out how to use a case within a workflow.

As Case Value we want to use a custom picklist field.

Now we are wondering what we need to enter in the fields Case 1 and 2 etc.

We thought the picklist value would be enough but we always get the error:

undefined method `append' for "Case 1: 'jährlich'', 'Case 2: 'monatlich'": String

Does it even work with picklist fields? Unfortunately I can't find a documentation.

Thanks in advance.

Re: How to work with a case

Hi @ASchwarz

In the 'Case Value' field, you should enter whatever picklist filed you are evaluating (or any evaluation like IF/THEN), then identify any resulting values that should fork to different paths under the fields Case 1, 2, 3, etc. Anything you don't identify will be used for the 'else' flow.

Some configuration examples below

Single field example:

IF/THEN example:

I hope this helps.

Re: How to work with a case

Hi Kenta,

thanks for the answer. I found a solution with the support too. Problem was a small bug as I needed to work with a custom field. Now it all works fine.
