Service Charge once per year but not Annual for Revenue Recognition
We provide a service for current customers that occurs once per year. Once we complete the service we send an invoice and recognize the full revenue. Since it happens every year we need the subscription to be annual/recurring (also since we upload quatities through the amendment process) however in the event we term the client mid year we do not want the revenue rec rules to prorate a credit. Any ideas on how to best set up the rate plan?

Re: Service Charge once per year but not Annual for Revenue Recognition
Hello,
In the rate plan, create under recurring rate plan, select annual billing, select the revenue rule (upon invoicing), enter the accounting codes and save.
Here is a screenshot of how the rate plan:
Once you process the amendment, keep the effective dates the same.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thank you,
Monique
