The one I found is spec['definitions']['GETSubscriptionRatePlanChargesType']['allOf'][0]['properties']['quantity'] is defined as string instead of integer. It show up in swagger definition for GETSubscriptionRatePlanChargesType. However, on the web, it clearly say that field is integer as "quantity" is 1 instead of "1"

Currently, if I have two subscription update request going through at the same time, I am not sure it will work correctly. The API I described is below: https://www.zuora.com/developer/api-reference/#operation/PUT_Subscription If I have a subscription that is 10 seats @10$/month for product A. Then there are two concurring request to change the subscription, requestX is "update quantity to 5 seats @ 10$/month" and requestY is "update quantit to 100 seats @ 10$/month". If zuora process requestX first and then requestY, it will end up with 100 seats, but if zuora process requesteY first and then requestX, it will end up with 5 seats". There is no way we can know which order it is done in some cases in a clean fashion. The proposal is we add an optional field in the put subscription request of the subscription version that we want to modify. In backend Zuora make sure a put subscription request is operated on specific version.

Update the Charged Through Date field on the Subscription Product and Charges object that is synced with Salesforce. It would be very helpful for our CRM users to know until when a charge is effective. I'm not sure why it is not already synced with Salesforce via Sync 360. Hello guys, We have found that Subscriptions-Invoiced tab under Subscriptions & Amendments shows only 5 records and doesn't have Sort and View All buttons. It's not convinient and confusing when you have 5+ Subscriptions-Invoiced. P.S. I know that to view all these Subscriptions-Invoiced I have to click Subcriptions-Owned tab and tick " Include subscriptions belonging to all child accounts of this customer account". Maybe it's good idea to add Sort and View All buttons to the Subscriptions-Invoiced tab as well?

Currently, TCV is calculated as described in the article below. https://knowledgecenter.zuora.com/BC_Subscription_Management/Customer_Accounts/A_How_to_Manage_Customer_Accounts/E_Key_Metrics/B_Total_Contract_Value
Because of the current design, it can happen that the TCV value is different from the value in Invoice. Therefore we got requests that following options are needed to calculate TCV so TCV value and the value in Invoice can be aligned.
Option 1, The option "When prorating a month, assume 30 days in a month or use actual days?" is needed to we can select "Assume 30 days in a month" or "Use actual number of days".
Option 2, In current design, TCV is calculated based on the charge's trigger day, while the invoice items are calculated based on the charge's billing day. We need an option to select whether TCV is calculated based on the charge's trigger day or based on the charge's billing day.

As soon as you cancel a subscription or remove a product with a future contract effective date you are not able to update it as it is not shown anymore when creating a new order. To effectively update such a product you would need to delete the order and create a new one to get the changes effective. But you can only delete orders if no other order was created afterwards. So sometimes we need to redo a lot of orders to apply a change to one specific item. With amandements this was possible as you can see in this article: https://knowledgecenter.zuora.com/BC_Subscription_Management/Subscriptions/E_Changing_Subscriptions_Amendments/A_Create_Amendments/Update_a_Product_(Amendment)/Update_a_Product_on_Subscription_with_a_Future-dated_Remove This feature would be really helpful as subscriptions often change and we cannot always go with the described workaround and delete orders as usually with an order an invoice is created and then we even need to cancel invoices to proceed which is definetly not the correct way.

Using orders in Zuora Currently Zuora only supports that a suspended subscription can be resumed within a current term. Example: Subscriber has a subscription 3 month termed that will be renewed to evergreen after that first term. The subscriber is allowed to suspend the subscription. This will result in no invoices being created during the suspension. As now in Zuora the subscription needs to be resumed withing that first term. As suggested without this rule the date for resume could be set 5 months from now. When resumed the term would continue as agreed upon. How it is today -Customer buys 3 month termed subscription 2019-01-01 (Will be renewed to evergreen) -Customer is only allowed to suspend subscription withing term 2019-02-01 - 2019-02-28 My suggestions -Customer buys 3 month termed subscription 2019-01-01 (Will be renewed to evergreen) -Customer is allowed to suspend subscription 2019-02-01 - 2019-07-01 (5 months in this case) with action to continue the term after resume true/false (up to company to set true or false). -Customers subscription is resumed 2019-07-01 and from that date the term will continue for another 2 months before it is renwed to evergreen.

When attempting to delete an Order that is not the most recent on an account the error message reads "You can only undo the last amendment." Pretty trivial to me that it says "amendment" instead of "Order" but may be more confusing for new users who are not familiar with the old subscription/amendment framework.

With the Manage Subscriptions/Amendments and the Delete Subscriptions/Amendments unchecked, a user cannot create or delete a subscriptions, etc. However the user is not notified of this lack of access until the end of the process, when he or she attempts to Activate the changes. It would be more user friendly if this warning appeared earlier on in the Order entry process. Thanks!

Hi, Currently, if a certain subscription is not already invoiced and if this same subscription contains one wrong amendment at the middle and all the following amendments are correct => we cannot delete the wrong one without removing the next ones. The goal here is to manage easily the amendments and be able to remove the middle one without affecting the good ones. Thank you !

It would be nice to have Zuora accept promo codes for a subscription and Zuora perform all necessary calculations and apply said discounts accordingly. I understand that Promo Codes is a connect app, but one would think that such a feature would have deeper integration to where Zuora could do the work that it *should* be doing, instead of making the consumer of the API do all the work. It just doesn't make sense. That's like telling a customer if they have a coupon for a store that the customer has to calculate the final price and tell the cashier what the final price is.

When you use search(e.g. search on "Customer Account". see screen shot attached), the records hit are displayed but it is not displayed how many records are hit.
So there is a request that it would be good if the number of records hit by search is displayed for usability.

When building products, we sell in a single Unit of Measure using different package quantities. An example would be selling cans of soda; you can buy 1 soda can, a 6-pack of soda cans, a 12-pack of soda cans, etc, all with separate price points. Our unit of measure would be soda cans, but we'd want to track the unit/package quantity in a separate field for each of our charges. Today this requires a custom field that carries the package quantity with redundant information in the Unit of Measure text field, for example: Rate Plan Name - Charge Model - UOM - Custom Field Value Acme Soda Can - Per Unit - Cans (1) - 1 Acme Soda 6 Pack - Per Unit - Cans (6) - 6 Acme Soda 12 Pack - Per Unit - Cans (12) - 12 Instead of 3 units of measure ("Cans (1)", "Cans (6)", "Cans (12)") this could be 1 Unit of Measure ("Cans") with a numeric field that specifies the package quantity. The benefit is simplified Product Catalog management and fewer Units of Measure.

It is good to have a formula custom field. A custom field can be created whose value will be the manipulation of other avaialable fields in UI. Currently Zuora allows three types(Text,Date,Picklist).

It would be great to see an option to exclude a rate plan charge from the MRR calculation. We currently have a fee that occurs everytime the client is invoiced, this should never be prorated and should be excluded from MRR. With these contrasinsts our only option is to create the product rate plan as a one time fee, then remove the product and re add it to the subscription everytime it should be charged.

After seaching subscriptions and invoices, I click on one of them and view the details, then often times I want to come back to the search results and view another item. but Zuora always reset the search result/filter and I have to type in the search criteria and do the search again, and then find the next item I want to look at........

I always cross refrence to check if the products match in a subscription and an invoice back n forth. It would be nice if I can just click the invoice numbers and view the details, and come back by clicking the Back button of the browser. Right now the invoice numbers are just plain text, I have to copy the invoice number on the Preview page of a subscription and open the invoices in new tabs.
