Currently contracted MRR shows amount without discount and doesn't consider discount sku amount. It should be amount after applying discount. In the following example it is showing 10,080/12= 840 however, it should be really 10,080-2,580= 7,500/12 = 625. Please look into this !

The problem we are facing is that--today--our only mechanism for adding new products (and rate plans, charges) and updating products/rate plans/charges is through the UI. This can be prone to human error as each entry must be keyed in separately and manually. We will be adding and updating Products/rate plans/charges at an increasing frequency and manual keyed entries will not scale.
We would like a bulk update tool that is usable by a business/non-technical user.
Without diving too deeply into a solution, I believe we would be well served by having a simple tool that accepted, validated, and set up new and updated items through some upload process--for example of a comma-separated value file--with manual steps only to verify the data to be added/updated. This could be through the UI or a RESTful API.
Another possible solution could be more of a "grid-view" into the products/rate plans/charges that allow for multiple data entries on a single pane of view, but this may not be effective for certain use cases.

Use case: Looking for a feature that will merge two accounts into one. Customer have had a couple of customers who purchased subscriptions, using their personal emails. Some time later, after the first subscription expired, their work or family member purchased another subscription for them, using their second email. So now, they are contacting us, saying "I would just like to use my personal email address to login and use my subscription".
Since they are using internal user IDs in our system, as account number, they cannot change it (as it is not possible in our system). So they customer is stuck with two separate accounts now. They are just hoping to consolidate the two.
Work around to consider: Making the account 1 (personal email) the invoice owner of all the subscriptions created for account 2 (second email). I suggested this as a work around since I am assuming that all the data except for subscription(s) will be the same for the two accounts so moving forward, all invoices that will be created for account 2 will just go to account 1.
However, DE8261/BIL-2981 is created so that we can enhance our application that will have an ability to merge accounts into one. This is currently being review by our Product Management.

Feature Request:
The client has reported the following quirks in the Zuora UI. They are not show-stoppers, rather quality of life issues that make "managing the Zuora product catalog an unpleasant experience". When viewing the product catalog, the List View only shows 6 items at a time unless you click the Expanded View tab and then move back to the list view tab, then it shows 25 items. Why can't it show 25 items by default?
Proposed Solution - Make the product catalog via show 25 items by default After selecting a catalog view, if you then select an item in the catalog and then select ‰Û¡ÌÝÌ back to Product Catalog List‰Û¡ÌÝå , you are not brought back to the view you left, but are instead brought back to the default catalog view. This makes managing the product catalog maddening when you have lots of products, especially when combined with the next item.
Proposed Solution - Selecting "back to Product Catalog List" should take users to the previous view, not the default view
When selecting a catalog view, it takes two clicks (4 if you count clicking between expanded and list views) to get to the view. You must first expand the items under Base/Addon/Misc, and then select Current underneath. It would be much better to just select (for instance) Base Products and be shown all the active base products.
Proposed Solution - When selecting a catalog view, users should be able to just select, for instance, Base Products and all active base products should be shown. The number of clicks should be reduced.
It would be helpful to us if we could define additional product categories. For now we are just dumping all the categories not supported under misc, but it would be better if we could define new categories and have them show up under Catalog Views. This would make it much easier to manage things like hardware, setup fees, etc.
Proposed Solution - Users can create custom product categories
Reference Number: DE7635
Business Need: Users are spending more time than needed to navigate through the product catalog.

It would be great if Zuora could allow the ability for one charge to affect another. Perhaps Zuora could develop a Charge model which multiplies price of tiers in another charge based on the quantity of units purchased in the multiplier charge. This is a current challenge we have at the business I'm working with at the moment.
Charge A
charge model: Volume pricing
Tier A: 1-10 £10
Tier B: 11-20 £11
charge name: Magic Software Suite
default quantity: 11
UOM: Users
Charge B
Charge model: Multiplier tier charge
Tier A: 1 - 5: 5%
Tier B: 6 - 10: 4%
UOM: "Support Cover Points"
Product Rate Plan Charge ID: Charge A
(perhaps this can be applied to Rate Plan Charge Level, Rate Plan Level, Subscription Level in the same way discount charge model works?)
In this example, the Quantity of Support Cover Points in Charge B multiply the charges generated by Charge A by the chosen flat fee percentage.

1. Summary of the enhancement It would be great to be able to preview and create a subscription with an initial QTY for usage based charges.
2. What is the business problem? Trying to preview and create a subscription with a tiered pricing charge model with an initial QTY that is chosen by the customer. The customer should be able to see what his charges will be based on the different values chosen for QTY. Basically the same as the preview subscription ui where you can change the QTY.
3. What is the business impact? We cannot create the product with a tiered pricing model which seems to be the correct way, so we have to do a lot of extra back-end coding to get it to work as expected.
4. What is the proposed solution? Add a Usage object to the SubscriptionData object, which will be displayed when previewed, and then it gives the ability to create a subscription with any initial usage.

Please place all subscription amendments in a table showing the date of the amendment and the amendment name. This would make locating a specific amendment considerably easier than the current layout.

In Zuora, we do not have the capability to configure whether recurring charges/ usages need to be prorated for partial periods on a per product basis. Some organizations may have some products which they would want to prorate for partial periods and some other products which should not be prorated for partial period. Hence capability to define the billing rules for proration on per product basis would be great.

Feature Request: Users would like Zuora to display the "current term" (number of months) information. Right now, the "initial term" and "renewal term" information are available but the initial term is based on the information from the actual initial term, not based on the current term.
Clarification: Each subscription has an Initial Term and Renewal Term field (under the Basic Information section of the subscription). Normally, users would consider these fields as the subscription version's "current" term and the next renewal term. However, this is not accurate. The Initial Term field in the subscription always refers to the original Initial Term before any subscription renewals have occurred. This causes a misunderstanding to the users in this scenario:
Subscription version 1 has an Initial Term = 6 months, a Renewal Term = 12 months, and subscription contract effective date = January 1, 2011. The initial term is January 1, 2011 through June 30, 2011.
The subscription has been renewed for one term, so now the current term is from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012. With this renewal, the subscription is now on version 2. The Current Term = 12 months and the Renewal Term = 12 months.
When we look at the subscription version 2, we still see that Initial term = 6 months. This is because this field is still referred to the original term, not the current term.
Reference Number: DE7872 / PMT-633
Business Need: Users may need to know the subscription version's current term and it cannot be found in Zuora.

The Subscribe call includes Invoice processing options which only allow for:
1. Invoice Date
2. Invoice Target Date
3. Processing Scope - Account or Subscription level
This does not allow for the optional filtering of which charge types you want to appear on this invoice i.e. Recurring, One-Time or Usage charges only or a combination of all 3. The Generate Invoice call does include these options with the inclusion of the following fields:
1. IncludesOneTime = Set to True or False
2. IncludesRecurring = Set to True or False
3. IncludesUsage = Set to True or False
Could the Susbcribe call be extended to include these fields?

When you click on Product Catalog (in the UI), and then click on a Product Name, on the resulting screen give us an option to hide any Rate Plans that are not currently within their Effective Date Range. We have tons of old Rate Plans that are just noise and make it harder to find the Rate Plan I am looking for.

Today the Subscription Term End Date shows what is really the "Renewal Date" for a contract. It should be one day less, to be an accurate Subscription Term End Date.
is this a setting that can be toggled to correct this, is this a bug, or is it a semantic difference here?

Situation: Customer X sell support as a % of platform fees. In the product catalog, they have to separately price support and cannot make it as a % of platform fees.
Proposed solution: A possible solution would be to allow us to link charges where necessary. Basically make one charge to calculate as a % of other charge. Most Subscription billing customers have support as a % of Platform fees. This is currently being reviewed under DE7364 by our Product Management.
Work around to consider: You need to discuss with your API engineer .
Example: Customer purchases 10 Memory at $10/memory. The billing costs would be: Total Cost of Memory: 10 x $10 = $100 Total Platform Fees: 10 * ($10*0.25) = $2.50 Total Fees = $102.50
Step 1: Create 2 rate plans in the Z-Billing product catalog UI (that is if the customer wants to see the transaction fee as a separate line item). 1. Normal Product (Memory) 2. Platform Fees
Step 2: *Since every Memory may be different (custom fee), the customer would need to handle the custom pricing and calculation of the platform fee all at the API level, after which the final Memory price + Platform fee would be sent over to Zuora. API Calculation: Calculates 2.5% of memory price for the platform fee, if over 2.5% results in an amount over $19.99 then use $19.99 as the platform fee.
*Note: If there is a set price for each memory (e.g. either $10, $100, $1000, etc), you can set up your Z-Billing product catalog with rate plans where the platform fee is pre-calculated up front. Memory: $100 Platform Fee: $2.50

Ability to preview an existing subscription past end of current term.
Current preview API does not allow preview past end of term. This is not helpful where an annual subscription with an annual charge (i.e. where term equals charge period) has already been billed and it is not possible to preview the following invoice amount.

On a recurring subscription, when a renewal occurs, that first subscription version is set to "Expired" and a new "Active" version is created. In the event that a cancellation occurs the status is set to "Cancelled"
On a non-recurring (1 period) subscription, when the end date on the first version has passed, the subscription remains "Active". Zuora considers this to be "out of term", but doesn't offer any field on the subscription to indicate this. Instead I have to pass in a date parameter to figure out what is "Active" and what is essentially "Expired". Getting an accurate count of Active, Expired, and Cancelled subscriptions is harder than it should be.
I would like the option to set non-recurring subscriptions to "Expired" when their end_date passes.

Currently Zuora is previewing amount without discount , line by line. It would be great to have preview with individual line items after the discount. It makes analysis easier and quicker . Currently we have to calculate discounted amount manually line by line and finding it a time waster. Discount in % should be displayed as well. Which is currently happening . so please don’t remove that.

Currently Auto Renewal Batch is executed at 10am UTC every day. It's 7pm Japan Time. We have a plan to use Zuora globally and set Regions (NA, EMEA, APAC and Japan) in Data Access Control. We would like to integrate their internal systems like CRM or ERP through batch processing in nighttime. But our internal systems are separated in the region or country. We need a capability of scheduling the executing time of day for Auto Renewal batch by the entity level of Data Access Control.
