How to add a new column to an upload template in RevPro 606?

 

To add a new column to an upload template for RevPro in the old UI, complete the following steps:

 

1. Navigate to File Upload >> Events. Choose QuantityBased_Tmpl.

2. Right click on the QuantityBased_Tmpl and select Edit option from the list.

In the resulting window, click the Unfreeze button available in the Template Definition tab.

3. Go to the Field Mapping tab.

Click the + symbol available at the top right corner and add the Ln Event Action field from the drop down list.

 

  • Staging Field Name: Ln Event Action
  • Input Value label: Action
  • Input Value Type: Character/Number (Based on the selected column's datatype)

Once done, click the Save Button (Floppy disk symbol) at the top right corner.

4. Click the Save button on the Template Definition tab and then click the Freeze button.

After adding the new column, the revised template will be as shown below.

To add a new column to the upload templates for RevPro in the new UI, complete the following steps:

 

1. Click the menu option available at the right top corner.

2. Navigate to File Upload >> Events.

3. Choose the template for which the new Column to be added and Unfreeze it.

4. Click Edit.

5. Go to Field Mapping tab and click the + Symbol.

Choose the new columns from the drop down list.

  • Seq: will be populated by system
  • Staging Filed name: Ln Event Action (column name from the drop down list)
  • Input value Label: Provide the label to be displayed in the UI
  • Input Value Character:  will be populated by system

Click Save.

6. Navigate to the Template Definition Tab and click Save and close the window.

7. Click Freeze.

After adding the new column, the revised template will be as shown below.
