System and Network Maintenance, July 23, 2016 2100-2200 PDT

Zuora Technical Operations will be conducting maintenance activities to it’s Network and Systems from 2100-2200 PDT on July 23, 2016. During this maintenance window, some Zuora customers may experience longer than usual processing times for some Zuora activities. Customers should not experience any service outages during this time, and normal system availability will resume after the maintenance has concluded.
About our Systems and Network Maintenance Procedures:
Zuora Technical Operations regularly performs system and network maintenance activities, to provide customers with the highest availability and security conscious platform as possible. When maintenance is scheduled, we publish the dates and times of the maintenance windows on trust.zuora.com, along with a posting on the Zuora Community page.
In the event of planned maintenance that requires customer action in advance (e.g. updating network settings in preparation for additional login pools), Zuora endeavors to communicate via email prior to the maintenance. Please Note: If emergency system maintenance is required, customers may be notified less than one (1) week in advance.
There are two types of maintenance at Zuora: System Maintenance and Release Maintenance.
- System Maintenance is for sustaining the security, availability, and performance of the infrastructure supporting Zuora services. Whenever possible, and as maintenance is necessary, Zuora will schedule system maintenance and provide advanced notification.
- Release Maintenance is for upgrading Zuora services to the latest product version to deliver enhanced features and functionality. There are three different kinds of release maintenance: major releases, patch releases, and emergency releases.
- Major Release Maintenance dates and times are posted to the Zuora Community Release Notifications page (http://community.zuora.com/t5/Release-Notifications/bg-p/ReleaseAnnouncments) approximately 2 weeks in advance.
- Patch Releases and Emergency Releases are used to deliver scheduled and ad hoc application fixes and are typically seamless to customers. Whenever possible, patches and emergency releases are deployed during off-peak hours and without downtime. Patch releases are scheduled regularly, while Emergency releases are conducted on an as-needed basis and can occur any day of the week.
