[DevTools] Update Product Charge Custom Fields

when mass amending charges (Update Product) via tools, if a custom field is not required, we don’t have to fill in its value or is it mandatory?

Hi Ramzi,

If a custom field is flagged as 'Required' in the tenant's configuration then you can expect it to be required in the Product Uploader template request, otherwise it would be conditional. In general, you only need to include the fields that you intend to update in the Product Uploader template.

Thanks for reaching out. 

Exactly, I went from the supposition that only the fields that we want to update are the one that needs to be mentioned in the file. However, it didn't work with the "Quantity" field in Tiered Pricing for example. Even though you just want to update the price, this one is still required.

It's not included in your previous statement, but is the custom field set to 'Required' in its tenant configuration? If so, you should expect that a value would need to be set.
