Denormalized API responses
Our use case is pulling incremental changes from the Zuora API for data warehousing. Our experience with the AQUA API is that returned entities include their own fields, as well as denormalized (dereferenced) fields from related entities. The problem is that the main entities updated timestamp, which we query on to fetch incremental changes, does not increment when these denormalized fields change (for good reason). As a result, these fields become stale in the data warehouse, resulting in a slowly growing data integrity issue.
Is there a way to a) request for just the normalized fields, or b) expose which of the fields are de-normalized so they can be discarded in post-processing?
