Can a Promo Code be applied based on Qty of a specified RPCharge?

We are wondering if we would be able to create a coupon that would be validated and applied only if a customer meets or exceeds a specified Qty on a specified Charge, for example, 5% discount if they have 10 Chat agents.

I see there is an option for Custom Field valudes to validate, do those need to be entered by the customer, or can we pull them from the customer Subscription information?

Other validations we are interested in are validating based on a billing cycle or payment method. Thanks.

Re: Can a Promo Code be applied based on Qty of a specified RPCharge?

Hi @kcavanaugh,

That's definitely a great idea!

Currently it's not supported in the Promo Codes app, plus custom fields are Promo Code specific and not entered/validated on consumption.
The app also isn't aware of billing cycle or payment method but you could get away with it using custom front-end validation using the custom fields.

Hope that helps and answers your query.

The alternative is that you use volume pricing, to build in this discount in the Product Rate Plan.

Depending on your setup, your promocode could then make this volume price product available to your customers.
