All declined messages are received from the gateway. If the payment is submitted and is returned with a declined error message, you will need to confirm with your gateway what the decline means. Each gateway has their own definitions for the declined message. You could also google the decline and view the error message on their page.

Hello,
when you use the HPP2.0, the Payment Gateway returns the eventual declined messages to the HPP which visualize these information.
I would undestand how these errors can be intercepted by the client page that hosts the HPP.
