Refund Payment on Deleted Account

Our QA team used our company credit card in production for test purposes to purchase a service and charged the credit card. Later QA deleted that account. Is there any way to refund the amount through Zuora?

As explained in our knowledge center article HERE, deleting an account deletes all of the account information, including subscriptions, invoices, payments, and adjustments. Therefore the payment record no longer exists to process the refund.

 

To process the refund you will need to contact your payment gateway directly. Most payment gateway providers provide a "virtual terminal" which will allow you to look up the original payment to void/refund.
