List of Japanese fonts supported by Invoice Template (and example)

Hi All (especially Japanese or companies considering business development in Japan),

In Zuora, with Invoice Template created by Word, we can generate Invoice PDF in our own format.

The type of fonts supported by Invoice Template are listed here: Fonts for the Invoice File Generation Service

I listed the ones that support Japanese, from the fonts allowed by Zuora:

  • IPAex Gothic (Regular/Bold/Italic)
  • IPAex Mincho (Regular/Bold/Italic)
  • MS Gothic (Regular)
  • Osaka (Regular)
  • Sazanami Gothic (Regular)
  • Sazanami Mincho (Regular)
  • Source Han Serif K (Regular/Bold/ExtraLight/Heavy/Light/Medium/SemiBold)

On Windows, MS Gothic is the only font available by default in the above.
The links of the ttf file of other fonts is as follows:

I checked the appearance of each font:

You can download the doc file and pdf file that I created to make the above picture from the following link:

I am glad if this pic helps you to choose the best Japanese font.

In Zuora Release 230 (R230), the font "Source Han Serif K" is now newly available. So, I updated this post.

"K" of "Source Han Serif K" means Korean. However, Source Han Serif K's font set includes Japanese.

I think "Source Han Serif K Regular" is very nice Smiley Happy
