Cybersource payment method updater batch job failed with Error "Updater declined the request..."

 

Problem Statement: CyberSource payment method updater batch job returning Error status with error message:

Updater Declined the Request. CyberSource HTTP Status: 403 - Forbidden.

Solution:

This is indicative of a password issue. It may be that your CyberSource password has expired. You can try login into CyberSource Business Center to validate your password and then input it in the Zuora setup page (Z-Payments Settings > Setup Payment Method Updater).
