Cannot delete amendment if there are two amendments created with same Contract Effective Date

Issue: If you have two recurring charges in one subscription which has been invoiced, let's say, until 01/31/2012, if you created two amendments to update those two charges on exactly the same date, 02/01/2012, then generate another invoice with contract effective date later than 02/01/2012, and cancel and delete this invoice, you will not be able to delete the last amendment and receive an error that "This amendment cannot be undone since invoicing has already occurred through the end of the previous version of this subscription."

 

Defect number: DE8428/PMT-888

 

Workaround: The workaround is to create another amendment to update the charge with correct value and set the Contract Effective Date on the same date.
