Feature Request: Split invoice and charges by amount

Business Need: The ability to split an invoice up by dollar amount.

Is this feature still under consideration?  It would help us accommodate client billing requests a great deal if we were able to split invoices by dollar amount instead of percentage.

Agreed with the above. Is this feature still being considered? The split invoice feature is great, but it's not going to help us if we can't split the invoices into exact amounts. From a customer-facing standpoint, this seems like a no-brainer. If a customer expects to see invoices at a specific dollar amount, but they keep receiving one for amounts that differ from that expectation by pennies, we just look silly and unprofessional.

Hi, 

From what I've seen of the "split invoice" functionality, this is not really compliant in Europe. We should not split invoices, but just be able to split the due dates. Example: invoice amount = 1000 €, initial due date = 1st of January

We should be able to split the due dates (as many times as we wish), for example: 

- 500€ on the 1st of January

- 300€ on the 1st of February

- 200€ on the 1st of March

Customers don't ask for %, but for specific dates and amounts.

This is an important feature.  Is there a workaround to allow invoice to be split to have different invoice amount?
