Ability to update the Billing Period on RatePlanCharge level

Business need:  Customer Z have variety of plans and sold in a variety of contract terms and prepayment clauses.

example: 
- Business Minutes 1000 can be sold to Customer A as a 12 month contract with 12 month prepay 
- Same plan can be sold to Customer B as a 12 month contract with 6 month prepay 
- Same plan can be sold to Customer C as a month to month contract.

the Billing Period cannot be update and customer is ending up creating tons of product rate plans in the backend.

We have similar situations where we need to update the billing periods on existing customers.  For us, Customer XYZ will start on quarterly billing, and then later change to monthly billing (or the reverse).  This is happening more and more frequently on our accounts.  To achieve this, we need to remove each product, and then add each product back in with the updated billing period preference.   Even is there was an option to change the billing period through a single "Terms and Conditions" Amendment, that would be better than having to individually remove and then add back in each product with updated billing period on every subscription.

Any news for this option? It is very frustrating to have to remove and add products, especially with complex subscriptions. Very error prone and time-consuming...

I agreed.  This is a must have feature to allow billing period to be updated.

Is there any easy workaround to do this?  Changing billing period is a common use case.  Removing and adding product is not ideal when there's an invoice tied to it.

Yeah one other drawback here is you also need to change the price when you change the billing period.  As part of this product should consider adding annual list base pricing so that price can be independent of billing periods.

Is this feature added, I am also facing the need to be able to change the billing period in second year of contract, but that needs me to add a product all together.
