Report for Invoiced by subscription bill to state

Trying to figure out how to get a report showing invoiced dollars over a given period of time by subscription bill to state.  We will have a parent invoice with many different children on it each located in a different state.  I would also need an invoice adjustment report in similar format to net the two reports together to get actual sales for each state.  I believe I can get this through Avalara also, but it would be nice to have a double check.  Thanks,
