Adding a custom date field to Reporting

I'd like to add an 'Implementation Date' field for reporting purposes. How do I do this?

At this time our reporting feature does not allow manual creation of date fields that can be populated during the report creation process.

 

However, you can utilize Custom Fields to create a date field under any record, which can be populated into a report.

 

For example, I will create a Custom Field under the Customer Account and run a report for that field:

 

1) Create the CUSTOM FIELD under Account. Choose Date as the field type:

 

 

2) Then go the any customer account and locate the custom field. Click EDIT and add your date and save:

 

 

3) When running the report, under the Account data source you can add the custom field onto the report which will show the date you selected.
