Problem Statement:

When attempting to login to Zuora with SSO enabled using Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) you get the following error:

Re: SSO Single sign on fails due to response issue time too old or with date in future

Solution:

This is often the result of the time clock on the server being out of sync because the w32tm service stopped or a firewall temporarily blocked ADFS from connecting to the designated NTP source.

To resolve, please ensure that the time on the ADFS host is synchronized with a reliable NTP server. You can use the Windows Time Service tool to check (w32tm).

.By default the time skew value on ADFS is set to 0 meaning any time differences between ADFS and the relying party will result in this error.
