How to set a format date and layout for specific billing entities ?

Dear all,

I have four billing entities set up in Zuora and the format date is mm/dd/yyyy for all four (as per default), in both the layout of the system and the invoices.

That format is ok for the US market, however is wrong for Europe and most of the remaining world.

How can I set up Zuora to display and bill with the American format (mm/dd/yyyy) from the US entity, and with the European (dd/mm/yyyy) for the remaining three?

I know is possible, as my previous employer did it however I don't know how.

Thanks in advance for you help.

Re: How to set a format date and layout for specific billing entities ?

Hello,

Great question. This is a fairly easy update. It is recommended you create a separate invoice template that you can associate to the European customer accounts in Zuora.

Once you have a separate template, you can use a merge field format similar to the following:

{MERGEFIELD Invoice.InvoiceDate \@ dd/MM/yyyy}

Here is the more detailed article that discusses this: https://knowledgecenter.zuora.com/CB_Billing/IA_Invoices/Creating_a_Custom_Invoice_Template/B_Define...

Regards,

Jerry
